CIMRO of Nebraska Receives Rural Health Achievement Award - The Nebraska Rural Health Association recognized CIMRO of Nebraska, the Nebraska QIO, with the Rural Health Achievement Award for leadership and noteworthy initiatives in promoting the development of community-oriented, rural healthcare delivery. CIMRO won the award for its work on electronic health record implementation, surgical safety improvement campaigns, and efforts in support of patient safety and health quality.

IPRO Wins CMS Contract to Study and Improve Hospice Services - IPRO, the QIO for New York, received funding from CMS to support the assessment and improvement of Medicare-funded hospice services. IPRO will partner with eight New York-based, Medicare-certified hospice programs to promote timely referrals, to support the integration of hospice into the overall health system and to test firstgeneration performance measures.

OFMQ Receives CMS Contract to Help Health Centers Use EHRs - Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality (OFMQ), the Oklahoma QIO, received funding from CMS to assist Federally Qualified Health Centers throughout Oklahoma in using electronic medical records technology to improve preventive care.

WVMI Awarded Contract to Support the QIO 9th SOW Home Health Quality Improvement National Campaign - CMS awarded West Virginia Medical Institute (WVMI), the Medicare QIO for West Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania, a contract to support the QIO 9th SOW Home Health Quality Improvement National Campaign. WVMI will provide leadership, guidance and technical and operational expertise to facilitate execution and promotion of the campaign.
